Had a great morning in the stand today. I had what we think is the oldest deer on our farm come by a little after 8 this morning. He was following a real nice 8 point that had a little bigger rack, but a lot less in the body. The DNR field aged him roughly from 8 1/2 to 9 1/2...I am going to...
I assume you are saying the primer fires for a dry fire...I also assume the primer goes off when you get a miss fire. Did you pull the nipple out and make sure it is clear and has no burnt powder stuck in it? Other than wet powder I can't see any reason it would miss fire all the time.
The fishing has been phenomenal this year, I am on the other side of Lake Michigan but we have been hammering the Kings. Seems to be a big run of 4 yr and older fish as we have been getting fish in the 18-25# range. If your going to go I would make it soon...the fish are getting ready to run up...
I use them, they are inexpensive and work very well. I like the bloodtrail camo pattern they have, and they are plenty roomy enough to bowhunt from. Also they stand up well to heavy snow

Yes make sure you get a Shotgun scope! I tried the other route and bought a rifle scope...the cross hairs broke in short order and cost me a deer and a 450 dollar scope. I have had great success with the Nikon Prostaff scopes and Lightfield slugs.
Because of the type of construction, i suspect the most viable option is to disassemble and move the building, I would say you could get a contractor that would dis assemble and move the building for about $9300. The cost to have a new building put up that size would run you about $27,000 +/-.
I use mineral spirits on a cloth to wipe the hair down, q-tips with windex for the eyes and a wet cloth for the nose, once in awhile I use a dog brush to knock the dust out of the hair. I just wipe the antlers off, dont personally like the shiny look of using a wax on them
