Last day of second season came on this one bedded down in a little draw and got a pretty good shot at him. Not very tall but wide. Has split brows and 14 points with a few little ones that look like broke off. Any guess on score? I was gonna guess 155

Nov 23. Missed him at 20 yards by three feet. My sight got knocked out of whack. Took five minutes to re-sight but missed the biggest buck of my life. FML.

What general area are you in Curtis? I'm in keokuk co and I think things are moving this week more than ever. Of course the cold helps.

Is it possible the rut to be that far behind where I am?

I saw my shooter buck and a small 8 bedded down together this morning. The only deer I see moving are right at dawn and dusk. I have been on this farm for 4 years and normally the place would be going nuts. Is my shooter buck gay?

I saw fawns still with does and bucks out right before dark just nosing around, don't seem rutted up at all to me in keokuk county.

Where are you located Bowtech? Nothing moved in my area till 430 and didn't see anything chasing.

The 3 bucks I saw we're all in the same area and couldn't care less about one another. Sounds like my area is a bit behind some others, although that doesn't make much sense to me.

Saw 3 dinks tonight tailing does. They weren't vey aggressive bout it either.
