A few years ago I hit a mid 160s high (grrrrr)....saw him two days later within 200 yrds of where I had hit him, and then saw him 200 yards in another direction locked down with a doe. I never did get him, but was amazed that he didn't just leave the area...don't give up!!!

I've seen three really good bucks, and all but one (and that was a week ago) was on a hot doe and had the whole woods lit up with small to medium bucks...
