The last six sits I totaled 0 deer. 3 different location in two counties, Clinton and Jackson. Today I sat 8.5 hours and saw 1 doe about 4:45. I am smart about wind, clothes, etc. But I talked to someone who saw 30 deer over the weekend. Frustrating!

Just set up my blind last weekend and brushed it in. What I did was take strawberry netting, a 14x14' roll which was plenty and throw that over the blind. Then I was able to zip tie pin oak branches and some spruce branches (what I had available). I ran out of zip ties and have a little more...

I know a guy that has done quite a bit of experimenting w/ a lot of different broadheads and he swears the the 2 blade bloodrunner are the best for arrow flight. I haven't had a reason to get rid of my slick trick magnums though.

Agree with the little bitty goose. Smooth release and I flinch a lot less.

I have that camera as well. Got it for Christmas last year. Bought the recommended lithium batteries. Been out since April and every time I look the battery life is 99 % or more. Shutter speed is a little slow.

Well said...not a fan of either myself. Always easy to be a critic from the outside. I'd say this though...16 trillion of debt and growing is hard to argue. Will Romney be the answer...hmmm doubt it. Predictions- Romney wins, but is unlikely to have majority in doesn't get any bills anything...

I was in my second week of student teaching in Fayetteville, NC. Which of course is next to a huge military base, so it was a crazy time/place. Unfortunately, the high school sophomores that I teach to now were 4ish when it happened and therefore don't have quite the same emotional connection...
