    Homemade Antelope Decoy?

Should work, you may not be able to draw the herd buck away from the other does, but one of the satellite bucks should come over and take a closer look. If you can set up near a water source it will be ever better. Good luck. Wish I was headed back to Cody this fall.

    Looking for scope on Muzzleloader

I have the Bushnell DOA on my TC Omega and like it alot, but have not taken any long shots with it at a deer, so that part of it is untested. All my deer have been within a 100 yds.

Yep, they got rid of it years ago. You want to be careful with it, cause it kills everything and more.

    Thorny Locust

There my problem on about 14 acres of CRP, here's the plan I concocted. Burn early May (before the 15th) which ever trees are still showing any green treat with brush killer (I still have some 245-T) then burn again the following year 2013. Will it work or do I need a new plan??

It's lead for now, of course the DM Register has suddenly become wildlife experts by the sound of their editorial today. Maybe they should ask the Farm Bureau about lead for dove hunting.

    Christmas tree ornaments

The great nephew was here last week and on Wednesday decided to meet my brother and do a little fishing and plinking. Well, the fish weren't biting so got out the 22's, a couple of dirty bird targets and some christmas tree ornaments. To say the 11 year old had some fun is an understatement. A...

    Sighting in a muzzleloader

As Cooter mentioned I swab between shots to more closely duplicate the shot. If you have problems shooting a good group then its time to play with bullets or powder, not at the same time. If you get it done in 3 or 4 shots you are lucky.

    hunting wisconsin

Have hunted northern Wis. and like has been said it's a lot different, we hunted large tracts of timber, and while there are some good bucks keep in mind they are pine cone fed not corn fed.

    Cody Firearms Museum

Was out there a couple of years ago, and my wife wouldn't let me go to the other floors. I needed an extra day or two. Besides the guns there are some great B&C mounts and art work. A must stop on your way to Yellowstone.
