You've heard right! Maybe I shouldn't be spilling the beans on that area. I know of several private properties that surround the Volga Recreational Area that have killed some great bucks. I haven't hunted it for several years, but it has produced for me in the past!

Don't overlook the Volga Recreation Area in Fayette County. There are 5700 acres of public hunting, and 138 acre lake for really good panfishing!

EHD hasn't hit my area that bad, but the number of mature bucks are a mere 30% of what they were just a few years ago. Maybe less! You can't continue to pound does for 5 or 6 years without it showing in every aspect of deer hunting.

If I bought land in PA; could I be Grandfathered in to hunt Sundays since it's legal in my home state of Iowa?
