I've been collecting "rocks" since the spring of '91. I had a friend who took me out and after finding my first I was hooked for life. It's damn near as addicting as deer/turkey/shed/morel hunting if some of you "addicts" know what I mean. It really does help if you have someone who knows...
SSShhhhhh!!!! make sure she doesn't find out...... I don't need any trouble from Momma Ironwood. I have enough mothers after me for flunking her little Einstein.
Ironwood or Madison B&C
If you want the original material...do a search on Ebay under black shrink tubing. There is a couple of guys listing the tubing for around $9 with the delivery charge it cost me around $12 to redo both chains. Worked very slick and easy to do by yourself. I bought...

Congrats Moose on a great late season buck. I knew the leatherman had multiple uses, but never thought of using it that way. I bet he felt like Steve (The Croc Hunter).
Stopped by on Saturday.....Great Open House as always.....Thanks to Larry and his family and staff for arranging with the Lovstuens to share the buck with the rest of us before it hits the news stand.

Congrats Chris......That's the way to start off the season.... Those two wouldn't happen to be from your doe funnel you showed me while shed hunting or would they?
Big Timber.......When I built my homebrews last summer I used a product call Stik'n Seal by Loctite. I comes in white tube with blue and red lettering. It is a waterproof adhesive that goes on clear/transparent and stays that way upon drying. Hope this helps.....I bought it at Lowes here in WDM.
Here's another black/white buck photo to stare at as we count down to October 1st. This picture was taken last year in early December 2002. I was able to find his right side on March 1st.
I've have operated two homebrews that I built using directions from Jesseshuntingpage. The only problem with this hobby is that film and film developing can become very expensive if you plan on building a 35 mm setup. I have spent around $225 on developing film and around $50 on film since I...
Madison B&C........I have passed on many young bucks in which I decided to shoot only with the video camera. Still waiting for the big boys from my trail cameras to show themselves during legal shooting hours. Hope everything is going well for you in your pursuit of a B&C. Take care and we...
