Anyone have any recommendations or what to avoid when buying a wood burning stove. I have an insulated pole barn 30X50 that has a propane heater but was looking for a wood burner to help it out. I just want to buy something on craigslist for $300-500. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Started this year out with a pretty decent mule deer. Took me two days to connect. Had numerous stalks go south due to many factors but mainly does and fawns you don't see busting you or the constant wind swirling. On the second morning we were about to call it quits when I suggested we walk...
I just tilled in my white clover and planted then packed it in. ideally I wanted to do it at the end of the month, but I close on a new house on August 1st so I had to jump at the opportunity to plant now.
A Camelbak is really nice to have. A lot easier to get a drink of water while walking by reaching to grab a hose than to stop and take all your stuff off. You can get just the bladder for like $20.
Has anyone looked at the cub cadet challenger? comes standard with power steering and winch. Not a fan of the bucket seats but quite a bit cheaper than a ranger.
How negotiable are the prices when buying a new one? I see the ranger has a $1400 rebate right now. I was thinking of buying one soon but like everyone else, I am trying to do my homework first to see which brand I want to buy.
So a buddy of mine got me and him permission to hunt 450 acres that hasn't been hunted in at least the past 5 years (I know, nothing is never not been hunted) so we walked it this weekend to remove any stands that might be hanging and check for deer sign, and hang some cameras. We only got to...
This would be technically my first house, since the one I live in now was bought and paid for by my wife. There is a guy I work with that just recently did this to buy a house. I wouldn't be doing this to buy a house. I wanted to do it as a loop hole to get my money out. Like people have...
thanks for the advice fellas. Seems like the majority thinks its not that good of an idea to take the money out. I have a stock purchase program as well, where I can put up to 10% of paycheck towards it and every quarter they buy stock at whichever price is lower from the beginning of the...
I mean technically my 401K would be used for the "house." Wouldn't be up to me, to do what I want with the money I sell my house with? maybe I'm wrong. I know I would have to pay taxes on it to get it out obviously.
I've looked into trying to get my 401k and roll it over into farm land but there wasn't way I could do it with me still being employed at my current job. However I can either borrow up to $50,000 and pay it back in 5 years or I was told I can get it all out for either medical bills or if I buy...
