yep, had similiar situation before. I think we should all realize, even if there's a corn/bean field adjacent to the property, deer eat upwards of 200 different plants. I used to think that since there was an ag crop next to the timber, all of the deer in the county would come through...

Did you get those up in MI? Those are some really nice deer for up there.

I hope everyone realizes how blessed they are to hunt in such an awesome state such as IA. Most folks can't even scratch the surface with numbers like these. Truly amazing! I miss the heck out of it by the way. I've hunted several states and both of my biggest have come from good ol' IA.

Way to go! It's what a hunters' dreams are made of. What part of MI you from? Spent a lot of time in the SW part. Trade off: excellent deer hunting for excellent fishing...tough call
