    We found him went about200 yds. He shot it with his crossbow and using the rage. It was complete pass threw quatering to. He caught one lung and liver. Barely any blood and broadhead fully opened so weird tht there was no blood trail. Thought there woulda been better blood trail

    Hunting gloves

    I just bought a pair from bass pro. They are cold weather scentlok archery gloves. They strap right on over top of your release. Index finger also can flip back and hold with magnet when shooting. So far nice and warm and work great. Not all too expensive either.

    wasnt planning on shooting a doe after all the ehd cases around here but after tonight had 7 doe with in range and couldnt resist on taking some backstraps!!! 14+1=15. first deer ever with a bow too:)

    best place to hunt the rut?

    Ino inside a big timber can be really good during the rut but I dont have the luxury to hunt like that. I have my stand set on edge of our corn field and a big crp, it is a perfect choke point so was wondering if that would be just as good or not. And also if I should use calls or rattle?

    Just north of Sioux city. Couple neighbors said they have found some dead one was a big buck. I havent found any dead yet but my big buck i used to get pics of every day has disappeared a couple of weeks ago so its very possible tht it has started. After how that doe acted tht ran into picker
