Amen bother. I have lived in iowa my whole life and would love to own some land but i can't because 20-25% of land is owned by nr. Which drives up the land price higher than what the crops do here in iowa. So if you nr want to complain about the rules go ahead and sell your land to some IOWA...
Im not saying im a fan of the late season but when it only happens in the southern county's that doesn't affect the buck population in northern county's. So no i dont see the coincidence.
I think his "breaking the law" this is a little less worse than the law you break by stealing their stand. Also I know state and fed laws supersedes the dnrs laws/regulations.
Two wrongs don't make a right! Just because some one broke the regulations and left a stand in a tree does not make it right to steal some one else's PROPERTY. Taking something that is not yours is breaking the law ANY way you look at it.
Bowhntin keep up the good work. Don't let all these old guys on here tell you how to act. They all think they own the public land and don't want anyone "pheasant" hunters on "their" public land. They have just as much right as any one to be there.
Ok good idea but when did the gas price go up a few years ago and when was the pipeline introduced this year. So that has nothing to do with the price going up a few years ago.
