yes they do! I have witnessed this many times, especially when they are tending a doe and there are other bucks around.

WOW was it dark out this morning! With the cool front they werent moving as much as i thought they would, i suppose the wind had something to do with that also. Only saw 2 does, pretty dissapointed.

Was out this am and again this pm. You are not missing anything yet, i have not witnessed any chasing or mature buck activity as of yet. Very little movement with the warm temps.

Whats everyone thinkin, with the 75 degree weather today and cold front coming tonight will there be pre-cold front movement this eve? Or should a guy wait till morn?

Gonna say at least 5.5 yr old. He has a lot of skin hanging up front which indicates a older buck. That deer is definetly pushing 180, mature for sure and should have the air let out of him, with out a doubt.

What have you guys been feeling about the rut, some of us are stuck at work till the weekend.

This morning seems to have been better than the evening, for the most part sounds that way. My expierence waas the same today. Seen decent 8, 6, and a forkhorn this am. evening was alot slower.

Two small bucks this am. I have not seen a shooter yet. Ive seen about 20 different bucks and they have all been 1.5 or 2.5 yrs old. Man thats a long time to wait until after the 15th of Nov.

Never saw a deer this am. Seen a doe and yearling last night, could hear a buck grunting but couldnt see him. Even those were right at last light.
