This weekend was extremely slow in my part of chickasaw county. All I had seen was yearlings. Seems like the mature does/bucks are locked down. Up until now it had been really good the last two weeks.

I always seem to see a lot of activity during that week as well. I have had some of my best hunts on thanksgiving day/weekend the last couple years.

I had one come straight for me twice last week! It seems like every time I sit in that tree he is there watching me.

i just shot the general last saturday and i loved it. i currently have a guardian and love it as well. I just can't justify buying another bow and don't want to give up the guardian. It was dead silent and no hand shock (neither does the guardian). I would like to get one in the testarosa color!

League shooting is a blast. There isn't anything else to do at night this time of the year so why not give it a try. I shoot in two right now. I am shooting the 300 league at Double A and target/3D at Jim's in Waverly. Last year was my first year doing it and I am hooked!

I also have the bobble head buck. My only complaint was the noise also. but now after reading this I know what to do. Other than that I am really happy with it.
