I've been guarding the same ridge for the last 6 mornings until between noon and 2. Have seen around 35 deer from the stand, mostly young bucks. Doe activity at the spot seems to have dropped off around Nov 1 and they have been scarce. Probably hanging close to some standing corn. I normally...

Any of the places where you can purchase a license will have books showing all of the public places to hunt, as well as who manages it. Tons of places to choose from and can be a little overwhelming. Lots of very large blocks of crp. Focus on the edges of cover next to cornfields and you should...

Congrats on the double! You were fortunate to find your bird. If their head is up after the first shot I keep shooting from my position, whether in a blind or not. Yes I have emptied my quiver lol. Seems they are less likely to take off than if you try walking out to them. Nice motion setup also.
