Funny, I've been doing this with public hunting ground for as long as they've had topo and terrain maps of the areas I hunt. Sure do wish I had some of my own land to do this on as well!
Spot on info. Could barely pull 60 last year. Shoot every chance I get and now 70 is easy. Might have to get a 70-80 pretty soon. (Don't tell my wife! lol)
Take a look at Iowa DNR effort to stop above mentioned issues and I would have to say down here things are OK....For now anyway. Hope the trend continues. Maybe MN and MI should look at the WI earn a buck and the issues you both mentioned and it would do wonders for both states. Not like you...
Personally I would never be able to part with any of MY bone. I have to agree with you on pretty much everything you said. Don't think it would have much effect on those who do these things illegally though. Once a crook, always a crook. Just how these guys are. Sorry for the lack of faith...
Man that is a hard call......FAKE.......REAL......FAKE........REAL......Oh hell, I don't know. Sure would like to think it's real but have a real hard time doing so. Very nice if it is fake though.

Definitely joining IBA this year! 20 dollars for a year membership! I can spend that at the local pub in an hour on a good night! lol Well worth it to anyone who cares about our deer herd and our rights.
Are we counting in-town deer management hunts? If so there will be a couple more dead does to add to this list as the season for managment hunts doesn't end til the 25th.
These guys can be found throughout the state. When I put my bow down for a few weeks in December to pheasant hunt with some friends we are always on the lookout for "party hunters" Have had more than one slug fired in my direction. Whatever you do, don't feel guilty about turning in unsafe...
Had two of my buddies in a similar situation this year. One guy shot a nice buck on some private land at the tail end of shooting hours. Next morning other guy shoots and kills very badly wounded buck. Bumped him on the way to his stand. Looks like he would have died by noon that day if not...
