Wisky,
I think that the shorter bows are more hunter friendly. I myself use a short bow it is a mathews legacy. And if you havn't shot one you shouldn't rule it out. unbelievably very quiet and smooth.
Oh by the way what does your name mean? Hank jr. lover or does it mean your...
TK. WOW!..... where do I start. Your post has got me so mad I don't know how to word everything that I want to say. First of all I can't believe that nobody else is upset with this post.
First of all I got to say that I like hunting big mature whitetail bucks as much as the next...
Tracker and Camoman, I think your ideas are exellent. I can see the prints now. There is not many things more important to outdoorsman than to pass on their love of the outdoors to thier children. And i think with old bucks way of capturing the moment it would be a great success. This one...
Wow I can't believe how fast things like this can circulate. 10 minutes ago a friend of mine here at work came up to me and showed me the same picture and another one and told me the story. The hunter who shot them got them on my friends land. both bucks were alive when he walked up to them...
jason, first off I have to ask you. When you are getting busted what are the deers reaction. Do you see tails in the air and deer running at mach 2 for the next county? If not you may be getting seen. In my experience if a deer smells you the hunt is over they do not wait around to see what...
I figured i better chime in too. All I have to say is way to go bro I can't tell you how happy i am for you and your greatest white tail to date. Year after year you prove to me that you deffinately have what it takes to bring home the big boys.
Remember that idea we had about...
bt, I think that you can score any rack typical or non it all depends on wich way it scores better. when you score non you still have to deduct the typical frame and then add the abbnormals. where as on a typical all the abnormals get deducted along with the typical frame. I hope this helps...
thunder ridge awesome buck! sure would like to see the pictures of the 167" eight point with the drop tine. That must be one hell of a hawg. congrats to you.
here is my question. what am i doing wrong. i personally have never had anything respond to a ratling sequence. i have rattled on my last three outings out of three different stands. when i rattle it is usually for about 30-40 seconds or so. the other night i read m350's post about pausing...
bt kudos to you, your on the right track. I just wanted to add, don't think the anties aren't reading what we say on this message board. Like BT said we for the most part on here are all hunters and need to stand together. Now for all of you who witness the slob hunters and violators it is...
fishbonker, I wanted to share an experiance I had last year, with ya. I took a week vacation to go hunt in south west iowa, on saturday I put my stand up and did some slight trimming of shooting lanes. Out in front of my stand was a little 4" dia. tree that had a limb that was out of reach...
