Well... I can post these pictures now that the buck is dead. A friend of mine hunted this public land/big woods/mountain WA buck for the past 3 years. He was at the local sportsman's show this past weekend and saw it hanging on the wall.

I'm definitely hearing a lot of that. For access and quality WA is definitely no slouch.

I guess it's not just the young pups that trespass ... certainly old enough to know better.

:D I owned that domain once... never did anything with it so I let it go.

Every once in awhile these guys will show up on your whitetail cam..especially when you are hunting high but also in other areas that have decent populations. This is in a spot where I was hunting a whitetail at 5K feet.

You always have to worry about one of these guys getting one of the bucks you are after.

Not my pic... a friend of mine and a guy I don't know... these are different bucks over 100 miles apart.. one of them is definitely public land (my friends) not sure on the other... Sorry I don't have higher quality pics.

Sheds from the Rez. These went 217 (I can't remember if that was gross/net and/or with/without spread credit). I got a chance to hold these and I will say these pics don't do them justice... giant.... and found in a big woods area of the Rez away from agriculture.

A buck taken on the Reservation... scored 210 (can't remember if that was gross or net). There is some agriculture on the Rez but a lot of the Rez is similar terrain to what you would find on the Public Lands surrounding it.

These are public land whitetail from a local outfitter (different than the one above) that operates in some of the areas I hunt.

Sheds of a WA buck owned by a reputable WA outfitter. I am not sure if these were public/private but I do know there is public state land in and around his guide area (never hunted his area of the county personally).
