Not to be a downer but don't you know hunting as a group is not hunting ;). Kidding of course. Not many better memories than hunting with family and friends! Awesome deer those two middle ones........wow!
I am looking at buying a new bow, and was just wondering what new models some of you shoot and why you like them. I will also be posting me PSE bow madness for sale soon too if anyone would be interested. Thanks for your replies!
I like to try and get the deer as close as possible! Just because someone can hit a target at long distances, for sure does not mean they can hit a deer that can step forward, duck, or make any other movement quicker than your arrow can get there at those long distances. That is not even...
I would try the Arctic Shield 2 piece glove. I think cost $30 and I wear them from late October all through the winter. Pretty decent glove, best I have used anyway.
I don't know if anyone has used them but I use the Red Head Gators you can get at bass pro. Cheaper then a rage but essentially the same thing with no rings. They work pretty good. My brother has blown threw both shoulders on a few does at 35 yards our so with then
. Just an idea worked well...
In my opinion I doubt the cows are causing that much of a problem. Deer usually don't really care much about the presence of cows. I hunt a farm with over a hundred cows on it and there are more deer there than most other places I have hunted with no cows. And pasture rent is anywhere from $60...
I hunt a big piece of land (1000 acres) of which maybe there is 200 acres of draws and timber. There are around 200 head of cows on it and I see then ALL the time to and from stands and while I'm hunting. The deer will spook at them on occasion but for the most part it doesn't matter. There are...
We had organic corn that we could not spray and got it pretty bad in one field. You have to just chop it down or yes it can be very invasive. You don't aw much of it sure to roundup so I don't know how bad it can get but it is something you will want to take care of for sure.
You just have to wait until the season opens but as long as you have a hunting license you can shoot one as long as the quota is not filled. I haven't checked to see how many the are allowing this year. You also must call it in then they come look at it and give you a tag for it. I trapped one a...
Like many other it was sparrows and blue Jays off the bird feeders and out of tees. I would sit out in the snow just to kill a sparrow lol. Then got my first shotgun when I was 10 and hunted everything I could. Mostly pheasants "when you could fill your limit in less than an hour about anywhere...
For this Hawk fan, I would say the odds aren't in our favor this year. If it was Ames or even possibly a neutral site I think state wins hands down. after last weekend I would find out hard to believe many think Iowa will win. But hopefully they got a good well of practice in and will be ready...
