Snopes.com is always an excellent site to use when checking out the stuff you get on email. I've found that about 98% turns out to be an urban legend, but every once in awhile the stuff is legit. This is a case in point, I guess.

I think the Yellow Jacket for broadhead runs about $40 which is quite a bit less than the block I bought. I should have just taken those three $20 bills and lit them on fire.
I was shooting practice Montecs into my Block. I guess it was the "old style" Block becuase it isn't the 4x4. It got absolutely shredded from the Montecs and not there are soft spots all over the place that won't stop arrows.

Yeah, that's been the consensus I've gathered from talking to folks. It about made me cry to see my Block destroyed after about half a dozen broadhead-shooting sessions. Darn those things are expensive!

I think Boone and Crockett is looking into footwear as a valid method of harvest. The way I see it, if you can get close enough to use a boot, that's Fair Chase!
