It happens all the time.I Have lost access to over 1000 acres in the last 7 years.Land was either sold or leased.Just think of how hard it will be to get permission on private land if the NR tags are raised from 6000-12000.
I paid for a lease on 160 acres in Davis County 10 years ago.As i recall...
I would put up the extra $20 and get 2 of the Big Game stands over spending $120 on one stand. And in my opinion I would also not use either of the harnesses provided with the stands.I would but a better quality harness than they give you with a stand.
Is it the cart that is 23"x82" with 500# capacity? I have tried a lot of the carts and in my opinion most work pretty well if you are on mostly level ground. If your cart has the 20'' tires that are prefectly verticle they tip over easy.I would want a cart that has tires that tip in for more...
I am not sure Critter.I will look it up for you.My best guess is that it was either James Kroll,Greg Miller or Leonard lee Rue 111.
I wasn't calling anyone out>i was just rying to inform people on facts.
#1 fact.....80% of does in a given area will be bread by the dominate buck in that area.If 3...
Oh...by the way...I am 57 and have bowhunted for 35 years.I take vacation the whole month of November and average 10 hours a day on stand for probably 35-40 days per season and I doubt I have actually seen 10 bucks breed a doe in my life. Its hard for me to believe anyone has seen "LOTS" of does...
I guess I should throw away my book..."Ways of the Whitetail" by Leonard Lee Rue and get one written by Cedar Creek or Gladiator.
Just an example....If you have 900 acres with 40 does...12 bucks with 4 of those bucks being 4 1/2 or older and the rest being 3 1/2 and younger, the younger bucks...
You guys need to do some research...I just looked that up on the internet.
I agree..if you have only 3 1/2 year old and younger bucks in a given area the 3 1/2s will do the breeding. But if there is a few 4 1/2s and older the younger ones will not do very much breeding.
I also read somewhere the...
A dominant buck will set up several rubs and a few scrapes then move around among them to increase access to does that are also checking out active sites. Both are opportunistic in these behaviors. The females are in heat for about 24 hours, so the buck must be on the ready throughout the...
Not many bucks 3 1/2 and younger will do any breeding at all if there is older bucks in the area.Older bucks will breed 80% of the does.Of course if the age structure in an given area has no older bucks then the 3 1/2 year olds will do the breeding.
I think before you buy a Vendetta you should check the regs.I think it is illegal to have anything battery operated on your bow to hunt with.I also don't think P&Y and B&C are going to allow entries into the books if one of them is used.
Not to change the subject but I saw a bow stand/holder like yours in antelope camp. They work great for blind hunting antelope.Where I do get one of those?
Never buy a bow that you can't shoot first. You will be a lot happier buying a bow from a good archery shop with a range then you will be buying a used bow sight unseen.Even if you want to save money and buy a used one,a good pro shop that takes trades and has a selection to shoot and choose from...
Nice looking buck but I don't think he will score well.He will be scored as a 6 point typical and its really hard to get a lot out of a 3x3.He looks much better with the extra stuff aound the bases than he will score.
After a quick google search:
Nugent was draft age during the Vietnam war. In the December 15, 1990 issue of the Detroit Free Press Magazine, Nugent was quoted as saying that 30 days before his draft board physical, he stopped all forms of personal hygiene. The last 10 days, he ingested nothing...
