    Setting center shot.

I've used a laser, Center Shot rubber tube thing, measure from the riser and the eybal technique and no matter what I've used I shot a little paper at the end to fine tune it and get it right.

What to do, what to do

To tell you the truth it's shooting so good I don't want to mess with it. I'll probably do some more later but I'm enjoying some shooting right now. I'll put the TT back on the SQ2 where it shoots so good and keep the WhisperFlite on the Guardian for now. If everything holds true for me I'll...

Hey Johnson, what do you think of that rest?

    MATTHEWS SWITCHBACK XT

I don't care who ya are that's funny right there... [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] the hit on you, however, remains in place. [/ QUOTE ] With everyone selling their Mathews how could they "HIT" anything? [/ QUOTE ] No one with a Mathews left to hit...

What to do, what to do

Nacho, you are talking about the rest timing right? It comes up within the last couple of inches of draw. I think I was catching the TT on the bounce and I didn't check the spring, good thought. I don't know where the sight thing came from but while you brought it up I use a Pro Hunter micro...

What to do, what to do

Well supprisingly enough the cheap WhisperFlite by Alpine Archery does a great job. Very quiet and very easy to set up. Shot it last night for the first time and it is every bit as accurate as the TT that I was using. The kick is gone and I ruined some fletching last night on some groups at 20...

What to do, what to do

Yup. Of course Bass Pro didn't have what I wanted in stock (suprise suprise)so I grabbed one of those whisper rests from Alpine Archery and put it on last night just to see how it shoots as well as a new Alpine archery quiver. I tried the Trophy Ridge quiver but didn't like it at all. Hey Rack...

What to do, what to do

Actually they are suprisingly good considering I can see the arrows kick up and left slightly. At first I thought it wasn't centered right and I shot paper util I was blue in the face but no matter what I did with the rest it kept kicking the same way. Then I notice my moleskin on the rest was...

What to do, what to do

Easy boyz, I appreciate everyone's opinion good or bad. Sometimes a rest will work for you and sometimes it doesn't. The shaky hunter I am using works for a lot of folks but I am having a time getting my arrows to clear without hitting the right prong. I didn't have that problem with the SQ2 but...

What to do, what to do

Okay I have pretty much narrowed my arrow rest search down to the Trophy Ridge or the Spot Hogg Whammy. I am really torn but am leaning slightly towards the Trophy Ridge. I have shot the TT for the last year but am not sold on it. What is your opinion.

Put my name on a Bowtech Guardian today!!

Pro Hunter Micro Sight TT Shakey Hunter (this is getting replaced) Trophy ridge two peace quiver. CX Maxima arrows. 100 grn tips loop (so far) 44 caliper release The sight I like for Colorado but I will probably change to something else for deer. The Shaky Hunter is definitely going and...

Slow Motion Video on bowstring hitting arm

Where the heck is the cable slide and cables? Do you think this is a compound bow?

    Guaridan... vs Drenalin

I made the switch from a SQ2 to the Guardian. All I can say about that is there is a world of difference between the SQ2 and the Guardian or XT. The XT and the Guardian are all but dead even on noise and shock but it is the no cam lean Byanary system that won me over. You can set the Guardian up...

    Bowtech

Same thoughts on the quiver. I'm looking at the Trophy Ridge two peace for mine. I tried the loop season before last but went right back to the string last season. I was anticipating using a loop on the Guardian but stayed with the string so I think I'm going to have the shop swop out the...

    Bowtech

Sweeeeet!!! Two things Limb, I was going to go with the bowtech quiver but I like the two peace mount on type. I wasn't overly impressed with the Bowtech version for my Guardian but I notice you did go with the Bowtech one peace, what do you think about it? Secondly, the Guardian comes set up...

    question

Thanks guys. We are getting some shots of the back half of a deer but other perfect shots. I would say 1/3 have nothing in them. The camera is set correctly. This is the only one out of the three we built that seems to get more empty shots. The dip switches are at normal but the other one I have...

    question

I have a P41 and BG2 setup and it seems that a lot of the pictures are blank because the animal is walking out of the picture before it takes. Quite a few are just blank. This happens day or night even if the camera is facing due north. Any ideas?

    Bowtech vs. mathews

Picked up my new Guardian Monday and the first shot through the paper was a bullet hole. I have shot an SQ2 for the last four years and I have to say this is a huge upgrade. I'll be keeping my SQ2 for Levi (my son 14) but I have to say that I have never seen any bow so easy to set up. No breaker...

    Bowtech vs. mathews

Shoot both for sure. It wasn't the hand shock that sold me because the Mathews and Bowtech are pretty close (Guardian does win though). Other than the fact that the Guardian shoots great and quiet and all the other stuff you expect at this level it was the Binary system, no cam lean and no bow...
