Ditto to what Rack said. To add to it two things really stand out to me other than the obvious no shock and no noise. The handle isn't only comortable but the way they have it angled makes you hold the bow correctly with no effort. The other really cool feature is that you can turn the limb bolt...
Headed down to Branson tomorrow to check out the Guardian with Rack. Kinda pricy at $700 but if it is all cracked up to what everyone says I may have to do the deal and pass my SQ2 to my son.
I talked to a guy who had one and loved it for target shooting but he took it to the woods and it came off the loop three times while he was waiting on a buck to come in. The reason was because he didn't keep preasure in the the release and it came unhooked on the loop.
This has probably been asked before but do cattle spook deer? If cattle show up at my stand I never see deer but if they leave I have had deer show up within 30 minutes after the cattle have gone.
Don't worry Rack he will get my SQ2 soon enough, besides you only have about 10 bows, let him use one of yours... uncle Doug.
Ironwood you are so right... good thing for him.
I guess I should give some specifics. It was a 20 yard shot right through the heart. The buck went less than 40 yards. Ended up being a great 7 pointer.
What can I say that this picture doesn't already say. This is a trophy in more ways than one. Last Saturday was the first weekend Levi and I had to hunt since archery season opened in Missouri and it turned out to be great!!!
My son Levi's first archery kill.

Well from what I understand it can be very bad. It is a rare skin disorder but there is a way to counteract it. You have to get your toe jam lean just right. Here's what you do:
First thing you have to do is pierce both nipples. Once you regain consciousness put a nail in both holes. Again...
KSQ2, first off listen to Cornfed because they have a post that explains this much better than I can (it has pictures).
Secondly, whatever you do don't listen to Rack, he ditched his Mathews for a Ross so whatever he says doesn't count. Besides he should be patching the holes in his fence from...
Yes, there should be some lean when your bow is not drawn. Again you should be able to lay an arrow on the left side of the idler wheel with the tip of the arrow hitting the middle of the string at your nock point. It's called cam lean for some reason but it should probably be called idler lean.
KSQ2, you should be able to lay an arrow with a field point flat on the left side (standing behind your bow) of your idler wheel and the point of the arrow should be in the center of the string at your nocking point. This is called cam lean and you can adjust it by twisting the two strands of...
Okay, I have read several articles lately stating either the cut on impact or the chisel point penetrates better even through bone. I've always been under the impression that a chisel point was the way to go if you accidentally caught some bone.
I know I don't need to ask this but does anyone...
