    Dogs Dogs Dogs

I don't want to kill a dog either. I will, but I don't want to. Chasing deer is 1 thing, but I won't be threatened on my own property by one, that's where I draw the line, there's no second chances in that scenario. Not sure I'd use a bb or pellet gun on 1 either. Tough deal. I like the pound...

One of these things doesnt belong.....

Thanks for sharing that information - I didn't know that even happened on a reserve auction. I always thought that was the cost of doing business for the realtor. No different than a regular listing where you never know if the seller will take anything less than the asking price. You might...

One of these things doesnt belong.....

This is a great read for those new to land sales and purchases, especially thru auction companies. There is a local auction company in N. Mo. And I'm surprised anyone gives them any business considering the way they advertise/market the properties they get. Whenever I call them for information...

    What's next for Republicans?

Let's hope. I read a story yesterday talking about if Harris wins, the media will be able to take the credit for the remaking of a person everyone pretty much hated 3 months ago..... If you recall, she couldn't even keep her staff members when they got in office, it was a revolving door for...

    Regs Dialogue with MDC Director

Ok, Let's say the age structure is younger than Ia/Ks, and in fact, I'd say that's a distinct possibility/reality. But - does that mean it's broke? does that mean it needs to change? does that then mean it's out of balance or negatively affecting the health of the deer herd? Or is it 'bad'...

    Regs Dialogue with MDC Director

No, I don't think you misunderstood the survey results. If you did, then we both did...... You know, I've never seen the recent biological studies done on the Missouri deer herd that corroborates these claims that Missouri has an unhealthy herd, or that the age structure of the herd is...

    Regs Dialogue with MDC Director

This will be interesting to see how it plays out. I hunt with friends (we're all NR), and we only hunt private ground I own. There's a number of ways they can apply the NR draw system, should they chose. 1) NR non-LO draw for tags based on point system. 1a) NR non-LO can buy a tag OTC that's...

    Hanging deer

I used to hang deer for a day or 2, but a buddy of mine put me onto wet aging, I stopped all that. Now if I shoot a deer, I try to have it cut and packaged and in the freezer by the end of day.
