I shoot a TC Triumph and it shoots tighter groups after it has been shot. It isn't a big deal @ 100 yards in, but @ 200 I am not comfortable taking a shot. I am thinking I will fire a round before I go, but I don't want to do this every time before I hunt. Anyone else have a muzzy like this...
What is more stressful, cold or snow?
I am admittedly a trophy hunter first and the recent cold snap has me wondering how many bucks will be shed by late muzzy. I think it was the 2011 season when we had record snow in December and it seemed like 75% of the bucks were shed.
Trout. Biggest was 22" and 5 lbs. 3 were 21". 2 were 19"+. Several over 16". I caught 6 of them using minnows. The other guys were using night crawlers. Biggest was caught on crawler. Caught in NE Iowa.
My stepdad and a few of his friends did a push with muzzys last Sunday. The saw 24 deer on the push and no antlers. One of his friends shot a shed buck. He was completely scabbed over. Any idea on how long that would take to heal up? I have also been having problems finding bucks. I had 19...
