    Avoiding change VS managing it

Ultimately, I hope it never changes. If it does it will be because of a select few and money. Image that. I don't think the nr tag price is to high. I am buy no means wealth, but I will do with out all the latest gizmos that year for a quality hunt and so can other folks. You can't compre...

    Avoiding change VS managing it

The deer belong to the people of iowa, not the government. Which is they way it is now. If you don't live in iowa then your not the people, per the current laws, I agree with.

    Avoiding change VS managing it

When, was the 1st year non res could hunt, wonder if the online deal with the drurys will have any effect, those dudes are the last people I want representing the average joe. The only people that will benefit from the change are people with money. Yeah maybe I should have been a dr or...

    Avoiding change VS managing it

I hope it never changes, I am a non res, hunted iowa the 1st time in 2010, it was great. Hoping to draw a tag this year, I am from missouri the land of many gun seasons. I will be there to fight for you Iowans, when they try and victimize and mess with your lively hood, and I will round up as...

Stop the small changes, they lead to bigger changes.

    Changing the crossbow season?

I am praying for you guys too, on serious note I just don't want to see iowa change anything, they are the last state that has done what's right for its resource and residents. I will work on the grassy knoll conspiracy today lol. I have some good leads.

    Changing the crossbow season?

It's no conspiracy, with more liberal liberal seasons/weapons it's going to happen. So in 5 years you can't find a place to hunt, guess what.

    Changing the crossbow season?

It's like this, they will sneak them into the gun season, then archery season. Then those deep pocket xbow lobbyist will push for non res land owners to be able to hunt the land they own, they buy up all the ground along with the other rich folks.

    Changing the crossbow season?

I have nothing against them, but they belong in gun season, they are not part of archery, I could dress up like a duck, but I still would not be a duck.

    Changing the crossbow season?

They are coming, I promise you, I would bet they will try and put them in the archery season within the next two years. That equals more pressure on the resource, guess what that equals.

    Changing the crossbow season?

    Changing the crossbow season?

This could go on forever, eveyone has valid arguments, but at the end of the day, it should be to protect the resouce, so your kids, my kids and their kids can have the same quality hunting we had.

    Changing the crossbow season?

It's my personal agenda, to protect the resource, allowing xbows will put more pressure on the resource. You guys in iowa will be fine if the Dnr sticks to its guns, does not rasie the tag numbers and controls the nr land owners. I am not telling or making choices of what weapon you are...

    Changing the crossbow season?

Why do you want to use a xbow? What's the appeal? Do you own or manage a farm? Have you hunted public land recently?

    Changing the crossbow season?

Greed is what's is about, It will put more pressure on the resource, when it happened in kansas, I thought long and hard and did some research. I came up with one under lying concept. Greed. You Iowans are truly blessed, but don't think for a second the big xbows company's don't have there...

    Changing the crossbow season?

I think the proposed change, is spot on, using it during gun season, that's reasonable it's a gun. But brother, it's just the tip of the ice berg, I don't live in iowa or kansas, but have hunted them both. They are the last true treasures left in the whitetail world. The industry and technology...

    Changing the crossbow season?

Anything you have to shoulder, point, use a scope, and shoot that is pre loaded is not archery and they have not been allowed because of such reasons until the liberal, lazy folks got in charge. It's politicians, Kansas, hunters did not want them, kwpdt did not want them, oh but some politician...

    Changing the crossbow season?

It's like roger rothaar wrote, a man ( high jumper) trains real hardy everyday, practices and finally clears the 7 ft bar. The the fat lazy kid next door buys a trampoline and jumps the same bar. Bow vs crossbow, society wants a quick everything these days, that's what's is about, not one...

    Changing the crossbow season?

Hard to say, prob trying to implement it then go for the regular archery season, they did it in kansas, and a few others, starts small then goes for the kill. Prob a politician with a friend.
