I think it depends on broadhead as well. Fixed blade will continue to do damage as deer moves if it doesn’t fall out. Expandable may have hit and folded up or who knows, just my thoughts.
As I'm currently in the middle of an all day sit, I'm wondering how many times has an all day sit paid off for others. I mean in the form of a buck being killed. I've done quite a few and haven't taken a buck during one yet.
I've been off since Friday and will hunt pretty hard every day till the 14th. Warmer weather and east winds haven't been ideal. Does and young bucks so far. Did see some fawns by themselves this morning though so just have to keep grinding away and know that any day could be the day

We planted our crp into corn stubble. First we mowed the stalks down and then waited for some weeds to start to come up and then sprayed. It was worth the money to spray. At first it didn't look like it would even need spraying but weeds started coming up.
