I shoot a Mathews and probably always will unless I start seeing problems. With that being said, I shot a buddy's Carbon Element and loved it. Just repeating what's already been said: no best bow exists. It's all personal preference and comfort. I'd say whatever is most accurate and consistent...
I've always been a believer in the "if there's Any question, don't shoot" theory. That's a heck of a buck though. I believe he's mature with that horse-like body. Just have to keep in mind that not every deer has the potential to be a monster. I'd suggest smoking him. A great trophy with the bow.
I believe it is the same deer. Prob a 3 or 4 year old. Low 150s if I had to guess. Not much mass but good tine length. A borderline shooter depending on the land you hunt. I would take him. Thump! -{{{------->
My best guess is that he's 4 yrs maybe 5. Prob scores low 160s in my opinion. Depending on where you hunt it might be worth the gamble of passing him to have more mass next year. I know I wouldn't though because he's a nice buck and I think he's mature.
Does he have a broken right brow? If he's a main frame 10 with stickers on each G2 like it appears, I'm thinking he's upper 160s. Tough to tell in this pic though. 168 is my guess.
