Friend told me about this website and I was really glad he did! Very easy and simple process. Hour long video and I think 20 question test. I think you will be pleased with this site. Good luck! Hope it helped!
Pretty cool story that surfaced this weekend. I think you're right KG, won't be the last. Would love to see one of those critters walk by me in the stand... That'll raise some hair on your back!! Cool story.
I thought everyone uses/has a ThermaCell?? I don't go to the woods in the early season without it. It is a necessity in August for bear hunting in Canada.
Agreed, Nocturnals all the way. They come in many different colors for personal preference. I have used green, red, and blue. Green is the brightest IMO.
Every few years I get the opportunity to go up to Ontario and hunt black bears. This August will be my third trip up there and the anticipation is killing me! There's no greater thrill IMO then having a black bear within bow range. My first experience was when I was 11 and have been hooked ever...
I have these binoculars and love them. You pay $100 less then the Nikon model just like them and they are just as good. Save the extra $100 and get the Scheels. You won't be disappointed.

Do you know the risk each farmer takes...
I 100% agree with you that timber/forests are not easily replaceable. And yes, a farmer that clears a couple hundred+ acres of timber/forests/CRP, etc. IS greedy. I also don't agree with taking out filter strips or waterways. We do not have a lot of timber up here either which makes it less of a...
I think there has been a lot of good suggestions on this thread. I don't have the answers to the rules and regulations but a couple things struck my attention...
I've grown up on a farm in Iowa and have a point-of-view from a hunters and farmers perspective. I want there to be a habitats...
My favorite new product isn't a new product to the market but new to me. I switched from G5 T3s to Nap 2-Blade Bloodrunners. I was fortunate enough to shoot a doe and buck with them and could not believe the blood trail. I've never painted the woods with so much RED! Great product.
Jim Slocum did my first mount a few years ago and most of my uncle's mounts. Brought him my buck from this year as well. He does phenomenal work and is a very pleasant guy to talk to. Highly recommend him. :way:
