I think like any section in history it can be area specific. Some areas may seem worse because many people are losing their permission farms and having less and less to hunt so their sample size is smaller. Others are in areas being ravaged by poor outfitting or other hunting practices...

If the deer can go from one property to the next- its hunting. If someone has the resources to put into their farm to make it enticing for the deer to stay on their farm and become patterned- good on them. I hope im at that level someday.
