I’m curious to see how many more LOT buck tags were filled during early muzzleloader this year vs the past being it’s floating now. I personally know of two in the high 180s that were killed by guys that have never purchased that tag in the past and most likely would not have if that law hadn’t...
So wait, only old people can afford over 40 acres? The way you talk you’d think the bill was written to ban anyone born before a certain date from getting a LOT.
Ok would you be good with everyone getting 3 tags to make it even or maybe anyone that owns piece of real estate getting a landowner no matter how much the acerage? I think the 40 acres came about because 2 seems like a complete joke, in all honesty I don’t know of many 40s that could withstand...
You named Scott Buckley, have you asked him if he would also be willing to give up a tag or are you just assuming he wouldn’t. Just because someone supports this bill doesn’t mean they wouldn’t support getting rid of a third buck tag all together. From what I seen most everyone that supports...
Well for a fact I refinanced a farm in 2020 and it appraised for 2850 an acre and in 23 I sold that farm for 5800. I paid double in 2015 for what my neighbor did in 2010, im the same age as you and it wasn’t easy buying land in my 20s just like it wasn’t easy for anyone at any point in time.
Up until Covid the price for rec ground was still relatively reasonable, the Covid craziness caused the massive price increase not old people that owned land before hand.
You sound like Bernie Sanders to me. I hope if you have children you don’t teach them the stuff you’re preaching on here, we live in America anything is possible if you want it bad enough.
This bill is a stepping stone in the right direction, get this passed and then work on getting everyone down to 2 buck tags. This is exactly what the opposition does, get straight walls passed then get necked cartridges, get crossbows in late season then go for full inclusion. The reason the...
Not sure how this really hurts the casual hunter that only goes on a couple hunts per year. They can still do that with their statewide tags, only difference would be the price difference between LOT and statewide tags.
I sent emails to every member on the sub committee, every democrat responded and not a single republican. Hate that it always seems republicans are not our friends on these issues.
