    Deer processing question

Thanks for the input. For the $270 cost, I guess I expected it to work as well with the small tube as the large tube. May be operator error or learning curve. Oh well, we will keep on stuffing and see what happens.

    Screen Names

I love hunting Iowa whitetails, turkey, and pheasant. When not hunting, I am usually telling tales of hunts that either happened or could have happened. I probably spend more time telling "tales" than taking "tails". I am currently trying to interest my teenage daughters who are 100% citygirls...

Congrats on an awesome buck and story Dakota(and Roger)! Patience on your last night of hunting the youth season certainly paid off. It was a thrill for me to hear you tell the tale, especially when you said "the biggest buck ever, just walked into, and out of my life, in less than a minute...

13 yr old daughter bags her 1st deer

Thanks to you all for the encouraging remarks. You have made a difference in encouraging a young lady to pursue hunting. Like most 13 yr old girls living in the city, her friends have no exposure to hunting(other than me), therefore don't have any understanding or appreciation for it. You have...

13 yr old daughter bags her 1st deer

I have enjoyed reading many of the posts here and decided submit my first post to share my most recent hunting tale. I took my 13-year-old daughter, Shay, out on the opening day of The 2006 Iowa Youth deer season. She harvested her first deer but it did not go as I expected. Instead it was a...
