NOthing in Stuart area last night - tried rattling and grunting and can call - nothing - when I walked out saw 2 different does by themselves - wonder if the bucks are locked down with other does??
agree
Hunting the Stuart area, and am not seeing the big boys chasing yet - only first year bucks bumping does. seeing lots of does with fawns yet, with no bucks around
Not sure if this is going to work or not - first time trying to post a pic. SHot this 8 pt. on sunday in the cold and wind at 15 yds.

hmmmmmmmm
I only saw 2 small 6 pts. and a doe with 2 little ones today.. tried grunting and bleating...nothing seemed to work for me. It was a perfect morning though.
.
saw 2 does by themselves in one field this morning on way to work, and 1 doe with a big half rack. in another. He was following her every step. I'd like to see what he was fighting with.
slow
Hunted 4:30 -dark - Saw one very small 7 pt. cruising by himself, and on way home saw I think 3 does in a field. Could've been 2 does and a small buck. But, that's all.
too warm
going to be warm most of week. - saw 1 8pt chasing a doe last night and that was it. Hate this time change, now it is next to impossible to get out after work.
I broke my release last night on a tree...anyway...it is the kind that hooks right to the bow string not a loop. Is there a difference??? Can I use one that hooks to a loop????
