Not saying it couldn’t be Duracor but I would say the timing of disappearance may have been coincidental. Again not saying it CAN’T be but Duracor is not as widely used as other chemicals and for sure not used in crop rotations.

Thanks 1983, haven’t read up on the articles but have wondered if there was a correlation. I mentioned earlier in the thread that my guess was a reproductive problem. I have read the neonic affects on turkey poults but have not read up on reproductive correlations.

Are they talking much of a market for coons this year? I know reducing coon numbers is primary but didn’t know if anyone will but them? Most I have talked to either aren’t buying or are pretty low on the big sizes.

I agree there is a problem in SWIA NWMO. Numbers way down. EHD is a factor no doubt but something is wrong with reproduction IMO. Is it chemicals, coyotes or something else IDK. Skip and I have disagreed on the coyotes before but I have hunted and trapped for years in this area and coyotes...

I would say the deer spoiled overnight. If the shot was anywhere through the guts that would even make me more sure. We had some warm days and nights through most of the season. If it was a 45-50 degree night like we had I would lean toward spoiled meat and not infection. JMO.

Depending on where you are located, which version of Tactacam and what signal you are using I am guessing signal issue. Verizon is a huge cell provider and they bought out a lot of local providers and started taking them over in September and my cell cams and cell phone service has been spotty...
