This is just informational.
I'm guessing this has already been done but wanted to share. Picked up some corner iron at menards today for 90 cents each. Hit one end with a hammer until it bent in a bit as shown. It should bend right at the bottom hole on one side. Size and SKU of the one to get shown in the pic.
Walla. Easiest DIY ever. You can control the angle up and down as well. Fits perfect in all 6 brain stems I tried (shown below). Plent of clearance for mounting right on the wall too.
