.17 wsm

I read quite a bit about it. seems like a fun little cartridge. having a 17 rem already I doubt that I will ever own one but it would be a fun cartridge if I didn't have my .17 rem centerfire

A 204 makes more sense to me though. I have the 17 hmr, doubt I ever buy one of the new 17's.
 
It'll be interesting to see how this round performs. I've seen what the .17 Rem can do, and that is a heck of a little cartridge. A guy who varmint hunts has one as a sleeper gun. Flat shooting and doesn't blow up fox and yotes. This .17 will get looked at by me for a sleeper possibility.
 
yeah I've shot fox and coyotes with the 17 rem and never had an exit. I've also seen them tear the he*# out of them on running shots where the shot placement wasn't the best. once the bobcat quota is full then I drag out the 25-06 not so good on pelts
