Just a reminder guys and Kat!! The 2004 IBA Fall Festival is fastly approaching. It will be held at Pine Lake Archers in Eldora. August 14-15th. This is a fantastic 3D shoot with excellent food being served all weekend. Brooks from Double Bull will be on hand on Sat to give seminars, and various other guest weill be doing seminars all weekend. Muzzy will be on hand to do thier MUZZY BE QUICK shooting game. This is a pretty fun competitive game. There will also be novelty shoots, raffle's, silent auctions, and lots of vendors onhand. Dont forget about getting your teams together for the Delta Team Shoot. Also, the target auction will be at 3:00 on Sunday. Check out the post in the IBA forum for all details relating to that. This is also the final leg of the IBA Shoot-Out. If you only make it to one 3D event a year, this is the one.
Thank you,
Supertec

i remember shooting this shoot back when i was around 10, it's been at the same spot as long as i can remember and it's probably my favorite shoot ever...including IBO shoots. depending on how well things go this weekend at Rudds shoot, i may trek the corsica up to Eldora as well

Is there camping available?

Where does everyone stay on Saturday night?

It has been years since I've attended.

There is a limited amount of camping space at the range, or you can go to Pine Lake St. park with is 1/2 mile from range.Sat night is always a good time at the range, lots of good camp fires to sit around.

Doesn't look like I will be attending this one. I have tickets for the last night of the Outlaw national sprint car race in Knoxville. Doesn't look like I'll be home in time to leave at the 6a.m. departure I had planned on. Hope you guys have fun up there.

How bout the forecast! Hope we can hold on to it! Not a day out of the 70's. That'll put a little more "Fall" in the Festival.

If the race ends when they are saying it is then I will be there. It is supposed to end around 11. Now that's not including the down time waiting for soberity

What a awesome day! You could not ask for a more beautiful day to have a shoot. If there is anyway possible you can make it out there you should try to. There are lots of vendors out there with lots of specials. Brooks from Double Bull was out there giving seminars, Central Iowa Archery has specials on them, also giving away Dbl Bull chairs with purchase of a blind. Delta has some of their archery games from the ESPN Great Outdoor Games out there for the novelty shoot. Muzzy has there Be Quick Shootin Game that is a blast to shoot. A challenging 3D course to shoot open to all classes. You should see the raffle and door prizes they got, WOW! Don't forget to get your Delta team put together. I.W. is sharing a booth with the MID IOWA ARCHERS, we had lots of members stop by and say "hi" today. Bring the whole family out for a great time.
Thanks,
Chad
