Just thought I'd put out a few things we are working on up here for the Rendevous.

We're just starting to work on the course. It will be in the same area as last year but will offer some different shot's. The comments we had from people that shot the course last year ranged from "it's a nice course" to "it's the best they ever shot". We are buying the targets this year so most of them will be virgins. One thing I did mess up on last year was not having any bow holders, so they will be there this year

We're setting up an ironman event. Shot's at different targets at different yardage with a bow, shotgun, muzzleloader, and handgun. And also a seperate muzzleloader competition. With the 5 stand sporting clays right there it would be cool to get a tourney going for that. Say all the Iowawhitetail members have a shoot off.

Then of course bring your trophy mounts and sheds to display.

Lodging and camping there is an option yet. A caterer is gonna help us with food for saturday.

Onecam has a link to a great looking flyer the Rudd designed on the Home page. Click on it for information.

If anyone has any suggestions or questions post them here or PM me.

Who's planning on coming???????????????????

flier looks great. need to set up a link from here too. anybody have more info on the camping situation??

teeroy, there are not really any designated camping areas but there will be plenty of room to set up tents or pull in campers. another option is to stay in the renovated barn. there are 6 rooms that you could potentially share with people or places to spread a sleeping bag down on the loft floors. it sounds gross but this barn is not really a barn anymore. it's been renovated and looks awesome, the hunting lodge that every guy should have.

teeroy. Onecam has a link to "Chase the Adventure". And Muddy is right, the lodge is worth the trip by it's self. It's awesome.

And Hogie has more hunting stories and adventures than anyone I know. Feed him a few beers and the stories get funnier with every beer.......
