Here's the latest satellite imagery that I know of. Choose the 2004 USDA orthophotos as the map layer. I think it was taken in May as there are first cutting big bales in a hayfield that we later planted to soybeans. I find these images useful in trying to understand why deer are moving the way they do (where they are coming from and where they are going to and why).

I had seen this update as well but I know my place was later than that. It clearly shows an area I mowed after nesting season in late July. Could yours be a different cutting or would they make more than than one pass? I'm 100 miles south.

Darn it Pharmer, you're making me think. At first glance at the highest resolution image I could get I just assumed it was big bales. Going back and looking closer, I see a path I mowed across the dam of the wetlands. I did that later in the summer so I guess you must be right. I knew I had some spots in the field where the beans were thin (some deer browsing and possibly SDS-soybean sudden death syndrome) but to see that from a satellite? Makes me
