2024/25 sheds.

80%+ still holding both sides in south central IA.
Somewhat similarly...my son estimates that about 30% of the deer on our farm have dropped. Interestingly...one buck has remained as a 1/2 rack for about 6 weeks now and another "running mate" for about 2 weeks. Normally, they don't stay 1/2 racked for much more than a couple of days in our experience.

These two "halfies" have even gotten their picture taken sparring in front of one of our cams...causing my son to think he could pick up one, or two, of the remaining antlers after being dislodged in the scuffles. Only, to his chagrin, that hasn't happened! :)

With the lack of snow and easy river acsess (iced over), I have MILES of riverbottom grounds I can walk in Mn and also along the red River between mn/ nd. (Both sides):).

Knowing where they are herded up, I'm chomping at the bit to get out but I need to refrain untill the vast majority have shed.
Gonna try and get a few guys together for a 2 day weekend and GO!!.
Only have so much time and have learned over the years not to cover the same ground twice.
