217" WR from Alberta?

Anybody hear anything about a big whitetail buck that is supposed to score 217" net from Alberta, Canada?

If true, it would be new B&C world record.

I haven't heard anything and I'm 60 miles from the border. You may want to check out albertabucks.com, maybe something will be on there, wasn't the other day when I looked.

I read on another forum that it grosses over 215 and nets in the mid 190's.....

I could believe a 217" gross score on that one, but the split brows and non-typical points are going to torpedo the net score pretty quickly. Still an awesome buck no matter which way you look at it!

IMO it doesn't matter what that buck scores. It is still a heck off a nice deer.

There are alot of similarities between this rack and the Zaft buck. Same trouble on the g2, same configuration and character. I'm thinking what they did with this deer is add the nontypical onto the gross typical score. This gives you a "total" gross.., this deer, in my opinion, is far from grossing 217 typical. It's damn sure huge though and I do wish it were me holding it.., only I'd smile abit more!!
