Sorry, it's not from Iowa but I made you look!

Tony asked me to post this photo after seeing it on another site.

This buck was taken on the Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, which is unfenced public land in north Texas. It was taken with archery tackle (no, I'm not sure what the let-off was!)

I use to live just 45 Min from the Hangerman Wildlife Refuge. It is an Ausome place. It borders Lake Texoma. There has been alot of Big Bucks taken there.

It is a Bow only hunt. It runs for 6 or 8 weekends a year, with a three day hunt if your drawn.
You have to have taken a bow shooting test, and score a 80% if I remember correctly. And you have to take a "Bow Hunter's Education course"

You're asign an area to hunt.
