6 volt Moultrie rechargeables

Anybody have any comments/experiences with this rechargeable battery and/or charger from Moultrie ?? Got an older Moultrie D40 for free and it uses 6 volts batts. VMan informed me that the older D40's are battery hogs so I want to try these products with it this summer. Any input is appreciated.

Had lots of problems with the 6 volt models. The D battery model is great on batteries. I think I went thru 8 months and thousands of pics on two sets of batteries.

I have 2 of these cameras and love them. The batteries last 1-2 months unless the temp is arount zero. the betteries do wear out after about 3 years of use but u can pick a new one up for under $10.

i had two and used them pretty hard. they lasted decent for about two years. make sure in the off season to give them a little charge once in a while. i think that helped, my friends and i found the older those cameras get the faster they eat the battery.
