It is not spamming when a guy starts a thread over there wanting to know other archery hunting sites that fellow members frequent. Archery talk has 69,000 members with at least 1000 members online at all times. Fellow bowhunters and some very knowledgeable hunters. Yea, sorry for posting this site and trying to help the site grow so that our sponsors can be noticed and bring more money to the site and advertisers on the site. Not to mention the great new members that we might pick up. Yep, bad me.

69,000 people? That is alot more than what I want to know about where I hunt.
 
69K and 1K on line at all times? WOW. How does anyone know who's opinion to trust? I've never been to that site. Lots of flamming? How do you keep up with all the posts?

Hey Bonk, there is a bowhunting section and and nonhunting-archery section. There are mods and it is usually just kept to an informative site; but individuals can speak their mind without fear of being banned. Lots of tech knowledgeable guys. Anything to do with archery is there. Pages do move extremely quick. Anything you are interested in your reply to though, you can have book marked and replies sent to your email. Quite a few IA guys on there.
 
I still like this site much more! but thats my opinion! choose what u like.. im stickin with Iowa Whitetail.. for sure!!!!

I can honestly say to me i think I can remember two different times over like the five year I have been here where people have stirred a pot a little. Whats cool about this site is, I could start flamming and stirring pots, and more than likely people would just sluff me off as an idiot and just keep going on, there wouldnt be 5 pages of idiots going back and forth like I see on other sites.

I did not suggest that anybody go hang out at the Archery Talk site or abandon this site. Like I stated, a guy over there started a thread titled."What are some other bowhunting sites you hang out at? All aperson would have to do is make a post for iowawhitetail. That is all I am saying. Wow!!! I guess we should keep this site isolated from the rest of the world and do our best to not allow any outsiders in as they might find out where we hunt or what we talk about on here. Maybe Limb can change the site's name to a secret password to help us with that.

Archery Talk is a great site and there is a lot of knowledge on there. I use the site for gaining information on archery equipment, shooting form, and everything archery.
 
Just curious if anyone is actually reading HCH's 1st post? Responses are confusing.

HCH, why dont you throw a link on AT, we are always glad to have new members.

I always try to look at both sides of an issue and was wondering if anyone considered that if a bunch of 1st time posters show up on AT to post that they really like IW, that it might look like a backdoor attempt to pimp IW and actually turn regular AT people off?

...just a thought!

[/ QUOTE ] AT doesn't allow you to edit posts once some one else has posted after you and if I had put a link there for iowawhitetail, I would have had to for the other sites I listed. It was easier to just name the sites. I did put iowawhitetail 1st on my list though

I would hope that the average individual over there would know to put a www. before iowawhitetail with a .com after.

As far as joining just to make an iowawhitetail post, the place is so big, I doubt if any one would care or notice. Just put iowawhitetail 1st and add another one or two so it doesn't look so damn obvious.
