I agree totally. I have been trying for the last 5 years to restore my barn. It was built in 1904 and needed some work. About half done.

If you look closely at those pics you can see people working hard bringing in the hay with sweaty straw hats, cows being fed, kids playing in the yard, drinking from a tin cup that hangs by the well. Hot roast beef and potatoes on the dinner table waiting for the workers to get the last load in. People living the good life.

If only we could go back.
