I went out to put a stand up today and just happened to be coming up on an outside corner of a beanfield. I was taking it slow, looking around the corner just in case anything was in the field. Just then i noticed a big, heavy 10 point rack sticking up out of the beans only 20 yards away. Velvet hangin all over everything. He never even knew i was there. I was disgusted with myself because i didn't think to bring my camera, so i whipped out my cell phone and took a couple pictures. Well, they didn't turn out so well but i got to watch him (or his rack anyway) for about 2 minutes before he figured something was up and got the heck out of Dodge. First time i ever walked up on a buck that big without him knowing i was there. It was an experience i will never forget.
What do you think the age of this bigger buck is. It's kinda hard to tell in that body position.
