I've been trying to hunt lately although it's been slow the past week or so. Figured I'd take the downtime to put up a few pics from back when they actually were still moving. These are all in October.
And finally, the pic that's been haunting me since Oct 25, that being the first night I sat on stand. I believe this buck to be the one I shouldered and couldn't find. About 7" of penetration, the partial arrow and head remained in the deer but the blood ran out after about 125 yds. A brushstomping the next day came up empty. Pic is poor quality due to heavy cropping/zooming but hopefully it's good enough to get the idea. Ugggg!!!
