This summer I lost a deer hunting partner in an ATV accident. Since the accident, many of his friends and family have put together a couple of activities to help raise money for his wife and two sons (3rd grade and a Soph.)We are having a fund raising auction for his family this Friday in Farmington, IA. A couple of the items are Hawkeye related. One is an autographed Nike football signed by Coach Ferentz. The other item is a Matt Roth game worn jersey (white). There are many other great items that will be auctioned that evening. A Mathews youth compound bow will be raffled off (donated by the Bonaparte fire department). If you are able, please attend. It will begin at 7:00 at the American Legion in Farmington. If you can't attend and would like to submit a bid on either the ball or jersey, please PM me with the amount you would like to bid and I will take care of the shipping if your bid happens to be the at top. BrokenArrow and myself will be in deer camp this year with the rest of our group, but there will be a huge void in our group that will be greatly missed. This Friday should be a great auction to benefit his family, but most of all, it will be a great time for friends, family, and new friends to remember our friend, Rick Wood.
