A Nebraska Buck

I hope this works. I am trying to figure out a scanner.
This picture is on the current issue of NEBRASKALAND
magazine. The picture was taken in southeast Nebraska.
I suppose he swam across the river from Iowa.

Just shows that we can grow them over here. They just
dont get much of a chance with rifle season during the rut.
What do you thing he will score?

He is a very nice buck. I would guess that he is in the 140 - 145" range. Doesn't look like he has a lot of deductions. It won't be long now before you can go after him. Good luck and keep us posted...great picture.

I'd have to say 150-160. I grew up in western Nebraska and saw alot of big whitetail and mule deer, but I never shot a big one. Looks like you got that scanner figured out.

I bet this buck would score better than the mid 150's. A lot of mass and great main beam length and exceptional width. I am basing all this on gross B+C, not net which means absolutly nothing
