Well last Monday don't have school so decided to go to Missouri to hunt and it was worth it! I didn't get down there early enough to be walking in through the dark but I got there just in time. When walking in i spotted 3 does about 100 yards in a field and I put a stalk on them and got within 30 yards before getting busted and decided to try and make my way To the stand on the way down I had to stop for 3 little bucks that happened to get with in 20 yards of me, then they strolled off. After seeing those bucks i decided to sit there for a little while. When setting there I heard something walking behind me a little ways so I got up and slowly walked on a trail about 40 yards from where I was usually sitting. I got to a trail that met with another and stopped to see a nice old 8 walking 10 yards in front of me I was about to draw when I realized he vanished. I sat there and looked to the trail next to me to see him coming down the trail heading right for me! At this point my heart was pumping and I was getting excited and he was closing fast. I had to wait for him to get around some brush before he popped out in front of me at 5 yards! I took shot and thought it was amazing i mean how could I mess up at 5 yard shot I thought. We tracked him for 40 yards to find the blood fading away and was making me nervous. After crawling on my hands and knees for another 40 yards I decided to get up and walk around for about a hour I couldn't find him and the whole time unwashed thinking no way im not going to get him when got a call from my buddy saying he found him in a deep little creek. I was so excited when he told me I dropped everything in my hands ( haven't figured out why yet) and took off running to put my hands on this deer and once I saw him he was a little smaller then I remember but I didn't care I got him!

I will get pictures soon once I figure out how to work this

It's 225 for a archers permit which is 2 any deer and 2 turkey, I thought it was a good deal.

I think next year I'm going for the Youth archery. The up'ed the price, it's $8.50.
