Acorns

I was out scouting the other day and checking on signs near my stands. I noticed some oaks were dropping heavy and others not so much.

It sure seemed that there weren't many on the ground, regardless. In my areas they are being hammered right now.

What are they like in your areas?

Heavy crop of acorns here. Not sure what to think of it.

Big crops in my areas as well, I'm excited, they'll get nailed now and with as many as there are I'm thinking late season will be good... IF we get cold weather.

Thats kinda what I was thinking Mudster. I moved several stands to maybe take advantage of that. Especially later in the season if it's mild.

and it was
like walking on marbles around my areas!!

None here spring freeze got them.
